“Martinis have never gone out of style and today there are many, many versions. No drink has kept its appeal across so many generations. Despite its many permutations by mixologists, the martini evokes style and sophistication.”

*This is a re-post and content has been modified. Since it is officially fall (Yay!), I felt the need to feature this divine cocktail again. I first blogged about this cocktail last year during a fall inspiration board series, where I invited a few colleagues to create an inspiration board based on a bouquet of hellebores. You can check out those fall inspiration boards by clicking here.

This fall-inspired cocktail is rightfully called the Pumpkin Divine. The recipe for this cocktail recipe is as follows:
  • 1 part Grey Goose La Poire flavored vodka
  • 1 part pumpkin butter
  • 1/2 part triple sec
  • 1/2 part simple syrup
  • Pinch of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger
  • Grated nutmeg and apple chip for garnish

Now, add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Next, shake it vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with nutmeg and apple chip.

Does this drink sound yummy or what? Basically, it sounds a piece of sweet potato pie, but in a glass and with a kick – the Grey Goose La Poire.

  1. That looks delicious. I've never had pumpkin butter before but since I love pumpkin pie so much I will have to try it out.
