Floor-length table linens for your wedding is a basic essential to your event design and worth the cost. Whereas, lap-length table linens can be an eye-sore, particularly if the table legs are showing. It is as if your wedding design is incomplete, not to mention, a distraction from the beauty of your tabletop.
Can you really picture your wedding reception site filled with 15 to 20 guests tables and the metal legs showing?
Better yet, imagine if the table linens in the first photograph had been lap-length. Can you see how the design would seem incomplete as if the manufacturer ran out of fabric when making the linen?
If your event design budget is tight, please know that electing to have lap-length table linens in lieu of floor-length linens is not the route to go to save money. Instead, consider cutting out your wedding favors and/or ceremony programs, both of which are not necessary and well, the majority of your wedding guests are going to leave them behind at the end of the night, if not trash them. However, your wedding tablescape adds to your wedding guests’ experience and will make a lasting impression.

Nice article.
Funnily enough – these are the mistakes people tend to overlook when planning – or think are unimportant – but that haunt couples in their pictures for a long long time after their wedding.
Yes, you’re are right!! Some people do not realize how much the table legs will stand out apart from their event design, until after fact, and definitely when they get their photographs. I think initially, they assume that with all of their wedding guests and tabletop decorations, no one is going to pay it any attention, but that’s so untrue.
Thanks for giving this information. This mistake happen in many parties. So, now in future i will take care of this thing.
